Easter Sunday

The weather recovered for Easter Sunday. It was still cold and wet, but the sun came out enough to have a nice Easter Sunday. I just posted the rest of our pictures, including coloring the eggs with the kids Saturday evening and then Easter morning. Enjoy!

A very wet Easter weekend

Easter Egg Hunt (indoor)
The weather is just not cooperating for this Easter weekend. We went from a beautiful Friday to rain and 41 degrees on Saturday when all the egg hunts were scheduled. We had to go to plan B and have an indoor egg hunt for the kids. They still had lots of fun and maybe it will be nice enough for some outdoor activities tomorrow.

Sawyer's 2nd Birthday

Sawyer's 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Sawyer's second birthday today. I can't believe he's already 2 years old, but he's still our tiny guy and he's just going to have to keep being the baby for about another year or so. We went to Austin and had a nice little birthday party at Poppy and Grandma's house, and then took him to Austin's Park and Pizza.

He absolutely loves Elmo, so we went with an Elmo theme and he got the TMX elmo among lots of other nice presents. Check out the pictures and video in our photo gallery.

Sawyer and Elmo

I just uploaded a video of Sawyer dancing with his new Elmo. I guess he's getting the newer TMX Elmo for his birthday.

Christmas 2006

I've compiled together all the pictures and video from our first Christmas in the new house. Both the boys had a pretty good Christmas, Harrison was old enough to be very excited about it and experience the anticipation that makes it so much fun, and Sawyer was also old enough to really have fun with all the Christmas magic.

As I frantically searched for a camcorder tape with more than 4 minutes free at the last minute, I got to witness the past two years of Christmases and birthdays in the span of an hour or so. After seeing Harrison on his first big-wheel that he could barely reach the pedals on, and then his little 12" crocodile bike, seeing him on his new 18" bike (finally no more knees hitting the handlebars) is just too much. He just hopped right up on that bike and started racing laps around the cul-de-sac so fast that the training wheels were tipping up off the ground! He's only 4, but it already seems like he's too big for those training wheels! Sawyer loves his little tricycle, too. He can't quite reach the pedals, but he can reach the handlebars, and the parent-handle on the back makes it perfect for walks.

Latest Video - Sawyer does the 'Monkey'

After we got Harrison's bunk bed all set up, Sawyer was playing around on it and next thing we know he was hanging off the top part (still waiting for a mattress) swinging like a little monkey. He's done it several times since, and tonight we grabbed the camera:

Halloween Pictures

We had a good Halloween, the boys dressed up as M&M's, one big ol' peanut M&M and one little mini M&M. Sawyer surprised us, as he was a much more aggressive trick-or-treater than Harrison was his first time. Sawyer had the process down by the third house and was treating himself to seconds when the opportunity presented itself. Even at one of the houses down the street that did a pretty elaborate haunted-house setup complete with a very realistic Frankenstein that handed out the candy, Sawyer eagerly accepted his candy from the Frankenstein as Harrison ran back down the driveway. Enjoy the photos and videos!
